Management Training that sticks with your people long after the session ends
Most training fades by Friday. Ours is built around real scenarios your managers face every week, so the skills stay in use months later.
Book a discovery callWhat we teach
Four focused programmes, each built from the problems managers actually describe when they sit down with us.
New manager foundations
A five-day programme spread across three weeks. Participants learn how to run effective one-to-ones, give feedback that changes behaviour, delegate without micro-managing, and handle their first difficult conversation. We cap each cohort at twelve people so everyone gets practice time with live role-play and individual coaching notes.
Performance and accountability
Two intensive days for managers who already have a year or more of experience. The focus is narrow: setting goals that teams actually track, running performance reviews that feel honest instead of bureaucratic, and addressing under-performance before it becomes a pattern. Participants leave with a written action plan tied to their own team.
Leading through change
Reorganisations, system migrations, mergers. When the ground shifts, managers are the first people employees look to. This three-day workshop covers communication during uncertainty, managing resistance without dismissing it, and keeping project timelines realistic when morale dips. We use case studies drawn from Welsh and wider UK businesses.
Coaching skills for leaders
A six-session online programme delivered fortnightly. Each session lasts 90 minutes and pairs a short teaching block with supervised practice. Managers learn a structured coaching model they can apply in ten-minute conversations, not just formal coaching meetings. Between sessions, participants complete short reflections and receive written feedback from the facilitator.
How it works
From first conversation to follow-up measurement, here is what to expect.
Scoping call
We spend 30 minutes understanding your team size, the challenges your managers face, and any previous training that did or did not land. No questionnaire beforehand; we prefer a real conversation.
Tailored design
We adapt the relevant programme to your context. That might mean rewriting scenarios to match your industry, adjusting the schedule around shift patterns, or blending in-person days with online follow-ups.
Delivery
Sessions happen at your premises, at our training space in Wales, or online. Groups stay small. Every participant gets a printed workbook and access to a private resource library for twelve months.
Impact review
Eight weeks after the final session we send a short survey to participants and their direct reports. We compile the results into a report and discuss next steps with your HR or L&D lead.
What changes after training
We track outcomes because vague promises help nobody. Here is what our post-programme surveys consistently show.
- Managers hold regular one-to-ones within two weeks of finishing the course. Before training, fewer than half did so consistently.
- Difficult conversations happen sooner. Participants report raising issues an average of eleven days earlier than they would have before the programme.
- Team engagement scores improve. Across 23 organisations that shared their data, the median increase was 9 percentage points at the six-month mark.
- Staff turnover in trained managers' teams drops. The average reduction is 14% in the year following the programme.
Common questions
If your question is not here, ring us or send a message below.
We cap in-person cohorts at twelve. For online programmes the limit is ten. Smaller groups mean more practice time per person and better facilitator feedback. If you have a larger team, we run parallel cohorts on different days.
Yes. We deliver on-site anywhere in the UK. We bring all materials, including workbooks and any equipment for exercises. You provide a room that fits the group comfortably and a projector or large screen. Travel and accommodation costs outside Wales are quoted separately.
Pricing depends on the programme length, cohort size, and location. As a rough guide, the New Manager Foundations programme for a group of ten starts at around £4,800 plus VAT. We provide a detailed quote after the scoping call, usually within two working days.
Our core programmes target first-line and middle managers. For senior leaders we offer one-to-one executive coaching rather than group workshops. Sessions run monthly, usually over six to twelve months, and focus on strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and personal leadership style.
Every participant gets twelve months of access to our online resource library, which includes templates, checklists, and short refresher videos. We also run optional quarterly drop-in clinics where past participants can bring a live challenge and work through it with a facilitator.
